WHAT IS A SIM CARD? Top

WHAT ARE UNLOCKED PHONES? Top

A locked phone only recognizes a SIM card from a particular carrier. If the cell phone is unlocked, it will recognize a SIM card from any carrier. The "lock" is software setting that keeps the cell phone "loyal" to one carrier. In areas like the United States where carriers offer free or discounted phones with service plans, the phones are commonly locked so that they will not work with other carriers.
An easy way to find out if your phone is unlocked is to borrow a SIM card from a friend that subscribes to a different provider. If you are not able to make calls using another SIM card, your phone is probably locked.

HOW DO I INSTALL A SIM CARD? Top

Pop the chip out of the credit-card sized SIM card. With the back of the phone facing you, remove the battery cover. Remove the existing SIM card, and replace it with Neometry Travel SIM. Various phones may have specific way of installing a SIM card. Refer to your phone’s manual.
